Mubinna's Updates #2

 Lord- hello once again!

 I really should 'ought to keep people updated a little more! My bad! I think I'm going to have to specifically schedule time to write down updates on stuff so- how about Sunday? I'll make some time for it, like a weekly round up if you will. For now, you'll just have to tolerate my Monday post.

So, what's been going on?

Ah! It feels so hectic to explain anything that goes on in my life! Despite how little content there is to actually say...

Well, for one I got a printer today! It's an ecotank so hopefully it lasts much longer than any cartridge printer. I honestly need it for university so it's a sound investment for me. It also means I can print out stickers. But you guys didn't come for my random printer review now did you?

Otherwise, I'm actually studying art again (or at least trying to.) I'm the type of person who loves to study literally everything when I get the opportunity to (I say it keeps my mind focused in the long run.) For now I'm doing a bunch of mini warmup exercises, it feels funny to learn basics when you kind of trained yourself on not doing that. It also feels great though I will not lie! I love to learn multiple different ways to get the results I want! Plus it's forcing me to use ink once again. Not that I'd expect anyone to know really but I started doing art completely with ink and nothing but ink. I do digital painterly art these days, sure. But ink was such a comfortable starting point when I started in art that I truly have neglected, so it's quite nice to return to that root of putting pen to paper and simply just drawing lines. If you're curious why I've decided to go to mini warmup exercises, I'm trying to build up to drawing a box really well. If you're wondering why I'm trying to draw a box? Well, it's for anatomy in the future. If you're wondering why I want to study anatomy...? It's so I can draw my muscular characters better. That and fan art purposes. Though truthfully that's a blog post in of itself! I'll show the messy stages of it all in the future.

 Also on the list of updates I'm going to give you- I've finally started to code out my website! Mind you- it's so unfinished that it's more like a digital image than actual website. I've kept caard for some time now, but like with everything else, I'm a control freak when it comes to my own artwork and how I present it. I like to think if I'm gonna present something that's a showcase of me as an artist... I should design every aspect of it and control how I want it to be. Caard is great, beautiful even. But I need something that screams me from the inside out. Also I think coding your own website is cool and I don't particularly like paying money to some company to ai generate me some website I can spit my brand onto. It's why I'm constantly looking for alternatives to blogger... It's quite restricting if you'd believe that.

Speaking of blogger and websites- I'm working on making a blog section for myself on my website! Obviously, being a Literature student with 0 experience in computer science, that will be more difficult. But, just like I learnt art, I can learn how to do this too. Until this website is finished I can share nothing about the blog I plan to make for myself, just know when the website is done I will talk about it a crap ton if university doesn't screw me over first.

University is also starting up (Woohoo!) As I write this, my university course will start up for me on the 1st of October and I will finally get to do my final year of university. Granted that means 1 thing: My time for art is gonna DRAMATICALLY decrease. Mind you I'm still gonna make stuff. That's in my nature. I'm just also gonna be way, way slower at it. I'll post stuff I find fun when I can!
